True to his breed, Bake doesn't need loads of exercise but loves a couple of quiet walks per day where he can sniff all the new smells his nose desires! He walks well on the lead and can happily walk with other dogs, but prefers calmer friends. His true love is food enrichment, as this keeps his brain busy and allows him to keep using that nose in the house too. Bake can be timid at first with new people, but as long as you take things at his pace he will build a bond with you and loves a good cuddle or to lay beside you on the sofa. We can't wait for him to find his forever home. Meet Bake, our gorgeous 1 year old Dachshund. This handsome chap is a sweet, calm boy who is just looking for a quiet home to settle down in. Bake could potentially live with another calm dog in the home, pending a successful meet at our centre, but he hasn't shown much interest in making doggy friends so far. He is a sweet boy who needs a calm home so would prefer all children to be secondary school aged and know when to give him his space. Bake loves his treats though and this especially helps to build his trust when meeting new people.
