Sedmiměsíční yorkšírský teriér kříženec s pomerančím Bear je mladé, inteligentní a plné energie štěně, kterému zatím prostě nebylo ukázáno, jak svou energii směřovat. Je čilý jako blesk, nadšený a plný potenciálu – potřebuje však důslednost, hranice a správný domov, aby mu pomohly všechny tyto složky spojit dohromady. Myslí se, že Bear je křížencem typu pomerančík × yorkšír, i když máme podezření, že v něm pravděpodobně najdeme i nějakého cairn teriéra nebo jiného podobného plemene. Ať už je jeho přesný křížek jakýkoliv, jasné je, že je to malý, pevný a velmi aktivní pes typu teriér s velkým osobnostním projevem a ještě většími energetickými možnostmi. V tomto stadiu se Bear stále hodně učí, jak být psem v domácím prostředí – ale dobrá zpráva je, že už teď ukazuje obrovský pokrok. Bear se za dobu, co je s námi, posunul ohromně dopředu:

Our absolute star student: This intelligent, joyful little treasure has made incredible progress and is still waiting for his perfect person. Bear is a young, 10-month-old Yorkshire Terrier x Pomeranian, who’s an intelligent, high-energy pup who has grown into the most wonderful, joyful little dog. He is bright as a button, eager, and full of potential, but he thrives on consistency, boundaries, and the right routine to help him shine. Bear is believed to be a Pom x Yorkie type mix, though we suspect there is likely some Cairn Terrier or similar breed in there too. Whatever his exact mix, what is clear is that he is a small, sturdy, very busy terrier-type dog with a big personality and even bigger energy levels. After arriving as an over-stimulated, under-taught whirlwind, the good news is that he has come on in leaps and bounds. He is now bright, responsive, affectionate and genuinely a pleasure to live with. Bear has made incredible progress while with us:
