Bertie can be reactive when out and about, so his adopters will need to be committed to ongoing socialisation and positive training to help him manage this. Our training team will be on hand to support and guide his new family. Bertie is a sweet and affectionate boy with lots of love to give, and with the right guidance, patience, and understanding, he will make a wonderful, rewarding companion. Bertie is a fun-loving, affectionate two-year-old boy who greets everyone he meets with confidence and enthusiasm. He is a high-energy dog who loves to play, especially with his favourite tennis balls, and would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise alongside mental stimulation and enrichment. Bertie could live with primary school aged children who are comfortable around excitable and bouncy dogs, but would need to be the only pet in the home. He is looking for patient adopters who are happy to continue his training, including housetraining and building his confidence when left alone, as any leaving hours will need to be introduced gradually.
