Gorgeous Blue whose nickname is Bluey, is sweet but nervous. He is devoted and loyal to his people. Blue is happiest when he is curled up next to you on the sofa. He enjoys a fuss and a snuggle with his trusted people. He loves treats including Bonios and sweet potato. His quirks include, ‘if you open the freezer, he expects an ice-cube!’ He doesn’t love the rain! Blue knows a sit, paw, spin, wait, and back! He prefers his walks in quieter locations where he can relax and take in lots of sniffs. He was fine to visit a Pets at Home store recently. He enjoys a paddle in shallow water. He is happy to meet up and socialise with familiar dogs and familiar people and roam about off his lead with his doggy pals. He can be worried by big dogs and dogs he does not yet know. Blue enjoys playing with toys, he likes soft toys, and a game of fetch and tug. Blue is a two-year-old German Shepherd looking for a quiet and loving home. He could share his home with upper secondary school aged children. He is looking to be the only dog in the home with potential to live with one in the future; Blue needs to get to know dogs gradually. He would benefit from having social doggy pals when out and about. Blue has no history around cats, small furries, or livestock. He is housetrained. He travels well in the boot of the car. Blue is happy to be left alone for a few hours at a time. Experience of the breed would be helpful. Blue is a sensitive boy and can be nervous so he would benefit from predictability and routine. Potential adopters should expect to come to the centre a few times to build up a friendship with Blue before adoption.
