Fortu

Brucie2014 | Skewbald | Shetland | Under 10hhWe are often approached by people who have found themselves in difficult situations and are no longer able to care for their animals as they would wish.We aren’t always in a position to help ourselves but can sometimes liaise with other charities to find a solution. We would far rather people ask for help, rather than continue to struggle on alone and their horses suffer as a result.Sponsoring ponies like beautiful Brucie, means we will be able to continue to offer assistance when needed. It really is the difference between us being able to say ‘yes we can help’ or ‘sorry, we can’t take any more into our care at this time’.Please take a moment to sign up now and play your part in being Here4Horses. Thank you!The story so far...It is a sad fact that Covid 19 took a huge toll on people’s lives – and their businesses.Back in December 2021 we were approached to see if we could help with a miniature Shetland suffering from chronic laminitis. This is an awful disease of the horses’ feet and is very painful.Despite being a much-loved pony, the family business was struggling and with a new small family too, the situation had become completely ove
