Born 2022 | 50 cm | has lived in the animal shelter in Romania since puppyhood As our German animal protection colleague traveled to Romania, she particularly wanted to meet the dogs that no one ever sees, the ones that somehow slip under the radar. The ones that quietly wait. The ones that never stand out, even though they are actually little treasures. And there, she discovered CAELAN. CAELAN lives in the private animal shelter of the Romanian association ADOR in the Romanian city of Botoșani. Since his puppyhood, he has almost always been in the yard there. His brother TEDO still waits there as well. Why? Black, not small, always there – and somehow overlooked in the end. How did they end up in the animal shelter? We often don't ask anymore, as the answers are usually the same. CAELAN, however, is such a wonderful dog. He is friendly, open, curious, and simply a genuinely pleasant fellow. One who is happy to see people, even strangers. One who never stands out negatively. One who lives peacefully with his yard companions. One who is always in a good mood. From his nature, CAELAN is more of a calm, laid-back dog. But as soon as you enter his yard, he immediately comes over and is happy to receive attention – excited but still overjoyed. He is also happy about treats – but usually lets the others have the first bite and waits for his turn. CAELAN simply waits for the days to pass by. But perhaps he is actually waiting for his people. For someone who finally shows him that life can be more than bars and routine. Who will finally give this wonderful boy a chance? Geboren 2022 | 50 cm | lebt seit dem Welpenalter im Tierheim in Rumänien Als unsere deutsche Tierschutzkollegin nach Rumänien gefahren ist, wollte sie vor allem die Hunde kennenlernen, die nie jemand sieht. Die, die irgendwie untergehen. Die still warten. Die nie auffallen, obwohl sie eigentlich kleine Schätze sind. Und genau dabei hat sie auch CAELAN entdeckt. CAELAN lebt im privaten Tierheim des rumänischen Vereins ADOR in der rumänischen Stadt Botoșani. Seit seiner Welpenzeit sitzt er dort fast immer im Zwinger. Auch sein Bruder TEDO wartet noch immer dort. Warum? Schwarz, nicht klein, immer da – und irgendwann einfach übersehen worden. Wie sie im Tierheim gelandet sind? Wir fragen das oft gar nicht mehr, denn die Antworten fallen meist immer gleich aus. Dabei ist CAELAN so ein toller Hund. Er ist freundlich, offen, neugierig und einfach ein richtig angenehmer Kerl. Einer, der sich über Menschen freut, auch über Fremde. Einer, der nie negativ auffällt. Der mit seinen Zwingerkumpels problemlos zusammenlebt. Der einfach immer gute Laune hat. Vom Wesen her ist CAELAN eher ein ruhiger, gemütlicher Hund. Aber sobald man seinen Zwinger betritt, kommt er sofort und freut sich über Aufmerksamkeit – ganz unaufgeregt und doch überglücklich Auch über Leckerchen freut er sich – lässt aber hier meist den Anderen höflich den Vortritt und wartet darauf, dass er an der Reihe ist Bisher wartet CAELAN einfach nur darauf, dass die Tage vorbeigehen. Vielleicht wartet er aber eigentlich auf genau seine Menschen. Auf jemanden, der ihm endlich zeigt, dass das Leben mehr sein kann als Gitterstäbe und Routine. Wer schenkt diesem wunderbaren Jungen endlich eine Chance? CAELAN ist kastriert, mehrfach geimpft, entwurmt, gechipt und natürlich im Besitz eines EU-Ausweises.
