Kdo je ztracený, nepotřebuje hrdinu – ale někoho, kdo jde s ním cestou. 14. října 2025. Krátce před odchodem na dovolenou zastavila hasičská jednotka před našimi bránami. Na bedně nákladního vozu: malá hromádka utrpení, která prošla už tak mnoha a komu jsme dali nové jméno. Protože: kdo se odváží začít znovu, může pustit minulost za sebou. Carlchen – pes, který jde srdcem. „Wer sich verirrt hat, braucht keinen Helden - sondern jemanden, der den Weg mit ihm geht.* 14. Oktober 2025. Kurz vor Feierabend hält die Feuerwehr vor unserem Tor. In der Gitterbox auf der Ladefläche: ein kleines Häufchen Elend, das schon so viel hinter sich hatte und dem wir einen neuen Namen gaben. Denn: wer einen Neuanfang wagt, darf die Vergangenheit hinter sich lassen. Carlchen - ein Hund, der zu Herzen geht. Carlchen ist ein in etwa 6 Jahre alter Old English Bulldog-Rüde, der in seinem jungen Leben scheinbar schon einiges mitgemacht hat. Mehrfach weitergereicht - als Wanderpokal ohne Struktur und feste Bezugsperson - scheint er das Vertrauen in den Menschen und die Welt zum Teil verloren zu haben. Er kam zu uns, nachdem es in seinem letzten Zuhause zu einem Beißvorfall gegenüber seinen Haltern kam. Carlchen präsentiert sich als stark verunsicherter, skeptischer Hund, der einen riesigen Rucksack voller Befürchtungen mit sich trägt. Das Betreten seines Zwingers war zunächst nicht möglich, mittlerweile duldet er aber ihm bekannte Personen in seiner Nähe und zeigt zu diesen auch ein freundliches, teils anhängliches Verhalten – immer noch zurückhaltend und mit Vorsicht zu genießen, aber mit echtem sozialen Interesse. Er sucht Nähe, bleibt dabei aber stets wachsam und misstrauisch. Bei seiner Hauptbezugsperson zeigt Carlchen Ansätze sozial motivierten Verhaltens anderen Personen gegenüber. Carlchen reagiert aus seiner Unsicherheit heraus mit deutlichem Abwehrverhalten – so wählt er häufiger den Vorwärts- als den Rückwärtsgang und würde dabei ernsthaft verletzen. Für Menschen wirkt so ein Verhalten auf den ersten Blick oft schwierig und aggressiv - für Carlchen jedoch ist es schlicht logisch. Wenn man so viele Befürchtungen mit sich trägt, erscheint Angriff oft als beste Verteidigung. Wer sich wirklich sorgt, reagiert eben manchmal laut und heftig und bei Carlchen heißt das: Er wählt den Weg, der ihm aus Hundeperspektive Sicherheit verspricht. Für Carlchen suchen wir niemanden, der den Helden spielen möchte! Wir suchen ausschließlich erfahrene Menschen, die mit verhaltensauffälligen, potenziell gefährlichen Hunden vertraut sind. Menschen, die wissen, welche Verantwortung sie übernehmen, wenn sie sich einem Hund wie ihm annehmen. Konsequenz, Souveränität und die Fähigkeit, Körpersprache zu lesen und richtig einzuordnen, sind absolute Grundvoraussetzungen. Carlchen braucht ein ruhiges, strukturiertes Umfeld ohne Kinder, ohne Katzen, in dem er Sicherheit finden und in kleinen Schritten lernen darf, dem Leben wieder Vertrauen zu schenken. Carlchen ist kein Hund für Anfänger, kein neues „Versuchsobjekt" und kein Hund, der „gerettet" werden muss, damit der Mensch sich besser fühlt - er braucht Menschen, die ihn sehen, verstehen, anleiten und schützen. Wer bereit ist, sich dieser Verantwortung bewusst zu stellen und ihm mit Wissen, Geduld, Klarheit und Fairness begegnet, kann in Carlchen einen sensiblen, loyalen Begleiter finden, der sein Herz nur wenigen schenkt - denn die Bereitschaft und der Wunsch nach Vertrauen und Bindung stecken in ihm; sie müssen nur mit Respekt und Verständnis aufgebaut werden. Carlchen braucht keinen Retter - sondern jemanden, dessen innere Haltung, Erfahrung und Kompetenz ihm Orientierung, Sicherheit und Kompass ist. Carlchen ist kastriert, gechipt und geimpft. Den Maulkorb kennt er aus seinem Vorleben augenscheinlich noch nicht.
