CASTIEL appeared at a dog park where some volunteers from our animal rescue association were coincidentally present. After taking it to the vet and finding out it didn't have a microchip, it spent the night at their house. Following the rescue protocol, we posted it on the animal diffusion pages, and several people contacted us saying they knew its owner. Indeed, we were able to contact him. The final result was that he has given it to us since he couldn't take care of it. That's why now CASTIEL is part of our animal shelter. It's quite an active dog, but it's very sociable with other dogs. We don't know how it will behave in a home, as we've never had it in foster care, and we also don't know if it's cat-friendly. What we do know is that we need to find it a home as soon as possible.

Castiel apareció en un parque de perros donde casualmente unos voluntarios de nuestra protectora se encontraban. Tras llevarlo al veterinario y comprobar que no tenía microchip, pasó la noche en casa de éstos. Siguiendo el protocolo de rescate, se publicó en las páginas de difusión animal y varias personas contactaron con nosotros diciéndonos que tenía dueño. Efectivamente, pudimos contactar con él. El resultado final ha sido que nos lo ha cedido ya que no podían hacerse cargo de él. Es por ello que ahora Castiel forma parte de nuestro refugio. Es un perro bastante activo, sin embargo es muy sociable con otros perros. No sabemos cuál será su comportamiento en un hogar, ya que nunca lo hemos tenido en acogida, tampoco sabemos si es apto con gatos. Lo que sí sabemos es que necesitamos encontrarle un hogar cuánto antes.
