General Information: A very sweet kitten with beautiful all-black fur. Vaccinated and microchipped. Not yet tested for FIV and FeLV. Personality: Ernesto (Erny) is a real whirlwind of charm—part Tasmanian devil, yet capable of being incredibly sweet and super cuddly. Having grown up as an only child, he still tends to play by gently nipping at hands and feet, but he’s learning quickly, thanks in part to his favorite stuffed toy, which he uses for wrestling matches. He’s a perfectly well-behaved cat: he uses the litter box and scratching post regularly, is a big eater, and loves treats! Ideal Adoption: We’re looking for a calm and attentive family for Ernesto—a family that can dedicate time to playing with him and giving him the attention a young kitten needs. Coexistence with children is welcome, provided the children are taught to respect animals and are supervised by adults. It’s crucial to protect his resting periods, which are sacred for every cat—and even more so during the growth phase. As he’s still a small kitten, it’s essential to have someone consistently present at home to continue his socialization through positive interactions and fun activities. Therefore, we do not consider homes where the cat would be left alone all day. Any outings into a secure garden will only be possible later, after a period of exclusive adaptation within the home to help him establish the right landmarks, and strictly following sterilization (around 6 months of age). For the safety of all cats with outdoor access, we always recommend using a no-choke collar (with a quick-release safety buckle) equipped with an identification tag. Generalità: Dolcissimo gattino dal bellissimo pelo tutto nero. Vaccinato e microchippato. Non ancora testato FIV e FeLV. Carattere: Ernesto (Erny) è un vero uragano di simpatia: un po’ diavoletto della Tasmania, ma sa essere anche dolcissimo e super coccolone. Cresciuto come “figlio unico”, tende ancora a giocare pizzicando mani e piedi, ma sta imparando in fretta anche grazie al suo peluche del cuore, che usa per la lotta. È un gatto impeccabile: usa regolarmente lettiera e tiragraffi, è un gran mangione e adora i premietti! Adozione ideale: Per Ernesto cerchiamo una famiglia tranquilla e presente, che abbia tempo da dedicare al gioco e alle attenzioni di cui un cucciolo ha bisogno. La convivenza con i bambini è benvenuta, purché siano educati al rispetto degli animali e supervisionati dagli adulti. È fondamentale tutelare i momenti di riposo, sacri per ogni gatto e ancora di più in fase di crescita. Trattandosi di un gattino piccolo, è indispensabile una buona presenza in casa per proseguire il percorso di socializzazione attraverso interazioni positive e momenti di svago. Non si valutano, quindi, contesti in cui il micio rimarrebbe solo per tutta la giornata. Eventuali uscite in un giardino protetto saranno possibili solo in seguito, dopo un periodo di adattamento esclusivo tra le mura domestiche per permettergli di acquisire i giusti punti di riferimento, e strettamente dopo la sterilizzazione (attorno ai 6 mesi). Per la sicurezza di tutti i gatti con accesso all’esterno, raccomandiamo sempre l’uso di un collarino anti-strozzo (con sgancio rapido di sicurezza) dotato di medaglietta identificativa.
