It is essential to have the desire to undertake a slow and respectful getting-to-know-you process, supported by professionals, to avoid repeating past mistakes. For FEBE, the presence of another dog in the family would not only be appreciated, but a real therapeutic resource. We are looking for a home where there is already an balanced, calm and socialized dog that can serve as her "anchor" and guide. Seeing a similar dog interact confidently with people and move securely in the domestic environment would help FEBE overcome her fears much more quickly, offering her a positive model to imitate in moments of uncertainty.
