Flocon - 11 years old, a big heart to adopt 🐾 He's called Flocon. Like a small white spark fallen from the sky, all soft... and with his own little character. At 11 years old, Flocon is in great shape and has adapted very well to his foster family life. His ear, operated on due to a carcinoma, is now perfectly healed. The collar is removed, bad memories fade away and he's already looking to the future. 🐾🫶 Flocon is a deeply affectionate, talkative, expressive cat. He loves to tell his day, respond when spoken to, ask for a caress and sometimes decide that it will be him and only him who has the last word. A bit stubborn, infinitely endearing. He lets himself be handled without difficulty and seeks human presence with confidence. He has met a dog: it did not enchant him, even if he remained dignified, the hair a bit bristled. A life without a canine companion would be preferable for him. His story could have ended abruptly. Deposited at one of our partner clinics for a convenience euthanasia, following his carcinoma, Flocon was lucky to cross paths with people who chose to offer him a second chance. The clinic refused to put him to sleep and contacted us. For two and a half months, he has been in foster care with them, surrounded by attention and care. His health requires a bit of attention: positive for FIV, he also follows a treatment for the heart and kidneys. But Flocon is cooperative and takes his medication without difficulty, hidden in a small pâté ball, like a daily ritual full of tenderness. He benefits from the 30 Million Friends Doyens operation, a precious support to help him live this new stage of his life. Today, Flocon doesn't ask for much. Just a quiet home, no outdoor access, preferably no dog, a couch, caring hands, a voice that answers... ❤️🩹 He doesn't ask to be the cat of a lifetime. 🐾 Flocon – 11 ans, un cœur immense à adopter 🐾 Il s’appelle Flocon. Comme un petit éclat blanc tombé du ciel, tout en douceur… et avec son petit caractère bien à lui. À 11 ans, Flocon est en pleine forme et s’est très bien adapté à sa vie en famille d’accueil. Son oreille, opérée suite à un carcinome est aujourd’hui parfaitement cicatrisée. La collerette est retirée, les mauvais souvenirs s’éloignent et lui regarde déjà vers l’avenir. 🐾🫶 Flocon est un chat profondément câlin, bavard, expressif. Il aime raconter sa journée, répondre quand on lui parle, réclamer une caresse et parfois décider que ce sera lui et lui seul, qui aura le dernier mot. Un brin têtu, infiniment attachant. Il se laisse manipuler sans difficulté et recherche la présence humaine avec confiance. Il a croisé un chien : cela ne l’a pas enchanté, même s’il est resté digne, le poil un peu hérissé. Une vie sans compagnon canin serait préférable pour lui. Son histoire aurait pu s’arrêter brutalement. Déposé chez l’une de nos cliniques partenaires pour une euthanasie de convenance, suite à son carcinome, Flocon a pourtant eu la chance de croiser la route de personnes qui ont choisi de lui offrir une seconde chance. La clinique a refusé de l’endormir et nous a contactés. Depuis deux mois et demi, il est en famille d’accueil chez eux, entouré d’attention et de soins. Sa santé demande un peu d’attention : positif au FIV, il suit également un traitement pour le cœur et les reins. Mais Flocon est coopératif et prend ses médicaments sans difficulté, cachés dans une petite boulette de pâtée, comme un rituel quotidien plein de douceur. Il bénéficie de l’opération Doyens de 30 Millions d’Amis, un soutien précieux pour l’aider à vivre cette nouvelle étape de sa vie. Aujourd’hui, Flocon ne cherche pas grand-chose. Juste un foyer calme, sans accès extérieur, de préférence sans chien, un canapé, des mains bienveillantes, une voix qui lui répond... ❤️🩹 Il ne demande pas à être le chat de toute une vie.
