We have therefore had her thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, and today we received the result: Emma suffers from so-called "Cushing's Syndrome," a metabolic disorder of the adrenal glands. She will now receive medication for her condition and must adhere to a special diet—forever! The medication has proven to be quite effective in experience, but it is also very expensive, but absolutely necessary. We hope that Emma's condition will improve quickly and that she will soon be back to her old self! ♡ ♡ ♡ As mentioned, the medication that Emma must take for the rest of her life is very expensive. We (and Emma!) would be very happy if we could find a loving sponsor for her who would like to support her with the cost of these tablets! Are you interested? Then please get in touch with us! Es gibt Neuigkeiten zu unserem kleinen Gnadenhof-Pferd Emma – leider jedoch keine besonders schönen … Emma fing vor einiger Zeit an, immer ruhiger und träger zu werden und trotz angepasster Fütterung weiter abzunehmen. Wir haben sie daher gründlich tierärztlich untersuchen lassen und heute kam das Ergebnis: Emma leidet am sog. “ Cushing-Syndrom ”, einer Stoffwechselstörung der Nebennieren. Sie bekommt nun ab sofort Tabletten gegen ihre Erkrankung und muss außerdem eine spezielle Diät einhalten – und zwar ihr Leben lang! Die Medikamente helfen erfahrungsgemäß recht gut, sind jedoch sehr teuer, aber eben absolut notwendig. Wir hoffen, dass sich Emmas Zustand nun rasch bessert und sie dann bald wieder ganz die Alte ist! ♡ ♡ ♡ Wie gesagt sind die Medikamente, die Emma nun ihr Leben lang einnehmen muss, sehr teuer. Wir (und Emma!) würden uns daher sehr freuen, wenn wir einen lieben Paten für sie finden könnten, der sie bei den Kosten für diese Tabletten unterstützen möchte! Haben Sie Interesse?
