Holly can be a little worried around other dogs, particularly if they approach her or try to interact, so she will need ongoing, positive socialisation to help her feel more comfortable. She has been able to walk alongside a calm, independent dog here at the centre, so it would be beneficial if she could have calm walking buddies in her new home. Holly needs to be the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself! Holly's new family will need to be committed to doing some training and attending multiple meets at the centre to build a relationship with her before taking her home. She isn't currently housetrained and has limited experience of living in a home, so patient adopters who understand that she will need time to adjust and learn new routines are a must. Holly also loves playing fetch, and with the right support, she has all the potential to become a rewarding and much-loved addition to her new family. Holly is a sweet 2-year-old Rottweiler who is looking for a loving home. She is confident when meeting new people and will happily welcome a fuss from her new friends! Holly can be sensitive and may feel worried in unfamiliar places, looking to her humans for reassurance. She would love a home with secondary school-aged children who are dog-savvy and understand the importance of respecting her boundaries. Holly is a low-key girl who will be content to enjoy a gentle walk before heading home for a well-earned snooze. She does have mild hip dysplasia, so her exercise will need to be carefully managed to suit her needs. Once settled into her new home, Holly can be left for a few hours, making her a lovely companion for a family who can offer her patience, understanding and plenty of affection
