This is Caithe. Caithe is a female dog. Her estimated birth date is August 2023. She is about 60cm tall and weighs around 40kg, so a beautiful big lady. Caithe was dumped in the field with her sister Ceara at the animal shelter of Sos Dogs Romania. Unfortunately, it happens more often that dogs are dumped at the animal shelter. They call it there "gift of the day". It's always a "surprise" what they find in the morning. Of course, they don't leave the dogs on the street and Caithe and Ceara were taken in at the animal shelter. We have been looking for a nice home for them for a long time now, but we hope to find the right one for these lovely girls very soon. Caithe is a very kind and cheerful girl. She is social with people and enjoys the attention and cuddles. She loves dogs. She likes to play with them and her sister. She has already learned to walk on a leash. Her future owners should be aware that Caithe still needs to learn some things. She only knows the life in an animal shelter where she grew up. With patience, time and love, everything can be learned, but that is obviously also what she needs. Caithe is still in Romania and can come to the Netherlands if an owner is found for her. After an intake conversation, if you are a match, an appointment can be made to pick her up at our small shelter in Didam. Caithe is The adoption fee is € 390,-. This is a contribution to the costs such as spaying/neutering, the trip to the Netherlands, European pet passport, chip and vaccinations. Dit is Caithe. Caithe is een teefje. Haar geschatte geboortedatum is augustus 2023. Ze is ongeveer 60cm schofthoogte en weegt zo een 40 kilo, een prachtige grote dame dus. Caithe is samen met haar zusje Ceara als pup in het veld voor het asiel van Sos Dogs Roemenië gedumpt. Het gebeurt helaas vaker dat honden voor het asiel gedumpt worden. Ze noemen het daar “gift of the day”. Het is altijd weer een "verrassing" wat ze vinden in de ochtend. Natuurlijk laten ze de honden niet op straat en zijn ook Caithe en Ceara opgenomen in het asiel. Inmiddels zijn we al lange tijd opzoek naar een fijn thuis voor ze maar we hopen deze echt snel te vinden voor deze lieve meisjes. Caithe is een heel lief en vrolijk meisje. Ze is sociaal naar mensen en geniet van de aandacht en de knuffels. Ze vindt honden helemaal geweldig. Ze speelt graag met ze en haar zusje. Het lopen aan de riem heeft ze inmiddels al geleerd. Haar toekomstige baasjes moeten er rekening mee houden dat Caithe nog wel wat dingen moet leren. Ze kent tot nu toe natuurlijk alleen nog maar het leven in een asiel waar ze is opgegroeid. Met geduld, tijd en liefde is alles te leren, maar dat is dan natuurlijk ook wel wat ze nodig heeft. Helaas heeft Caith HD. Dat is vreselijk voor een hond in een asiel. Ze heeft daarom juist behoefte aan een warm thuis. We realiseren ons dat niet veel mensen een hond willen adopteren met HD, maar toch willen we het proberen! Ze is absoluut de moeite waard om de liefde van een warm thuis te vinden. Caithe is nog in Roemenië en kan naar Nederland komen als er een baasje voor haar gevonden wordt. Mocht u interesse hebben in Caithe dan ontvangen we graag een berichtje met uw woon- en werksituatie en eventuele ervaring met honden. Als na een intake gesprek blijkt dat jullie een match zijn, dan kan een afspraak gemaakt worden om haar op te halen in onze kleinschalige opvang in Didam. Caithe is gesteriliseerd, gevaccineerd, gechipt en heeft een Europees dierenpaspoort. Het adoptiebedrag is € 390,-.
