Hugo came to the shelter as an owner surrender after multiple bite incidents. Due to these incidents, he was classified as dangerous by authorities and must wear a muzzle. He's working with a trainer on accepting the muzzle. Before adoption, he must pass a temperament test. Hugo is very affectionate and cuddly with trusted people, especially women. He can react defensively if approached inappropriately. He's compatible with some dogs but needs careful assessment. He walks well on leash and enjoys outdoor time. Hugo is eager to learn and work with humans but struggles with being alone. Seeking experienced owners without children, with ground-floor housing and high fencing (minimum 2m) as he can jump very high. Ongoing trainer support recommended.
