Flora's pups are adorable; they are affectionate towards the caregivers who pass by every day. They run to the car... and for now, they have a certain place. But the future for Jim (M) and Judy (F) is very uncertain. What happens to them when they get too big? Or when the hormones kick in? The neighbors have called for our help for a reason: they want the best future for Jim and Judy and hope for golden cradles. The little ones live within the fences at night, but during the day they are free to run on the dirt roads. Even on these dirt roads, it is driven too hard and eventually, if they become too adventurous, they can easily get on the main road. We also see it happen that Jim and Judy are taken in earlier rather than later at FTS Safe Haven and that is why it would be so much better if they could go to a (interim) house from this relatively quiet and protected environment. Jim and Judy are healthy, sociable and easy-going. Who will give them the 3 Rs? Flora's pups do not have a "special" story. They were not picked up from the road, not motherless and not homeless! 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐫 𝐳𝐞 𝐳𝐢𝐣𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐩 𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐩 𝐳𝐨𝐞𝐤 𝐧𝐚𝐚𝐫 𝐡𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞. Jim (M) and Judy (F) came by accident and live with the neighbors of FTS Safe Haven. For mother Flora, a sterilization commitment has even been written by the municipality! But for Jim and Judy, that was too late. The neighbors knew, of course, where they were going when the puppies were born and Giannis promised to help right away. In the meantime, they are 2 months old and have had their first vaccination. They were infested with fleas and so they are also treated against fleas, ticks and worms. They are sweet puppies and they are easy to approach. They also live in a domestic environment (different from ours...). The volunteers have kept them well in the meantime and will make sure that they do not lack anything. As soon as mother Flora is "done with them", she will be taken to the vet for sterilization.

Flora’s pups zijn schatjes; lief naar de verzorgers, die elke dag voorbij komen. Komen naar de auto gerend… en hebben voor nu een zekere plek. Maar de toekomst voor Jim (M) en Judy (V) is heel onzeker. Wat gebeurt er met ze als ze te groot worden? Of de hormoontjes opkomen. De buren hebben niet voor niets onze hulp ingeroepen: zij willen de beste toekomst voor Jim en Judy en hopen op gouden mandjes. De kleintjes leven ’s nachts binnen de hekken, maar overdag zijn ze vrij over de landweggetjes te rennen. Ook op deze landweggetjes wordt te hard gereden en uiteindelijk als ze te avontuurlijk worden, kunnen ze makkelijk op de grote weg komen. We zien het dan ook wel gebeuren dat Jim en Judy eerder sneller, dan later opgenomen worden op de FTS Safe Haven en daarom zou het zoveel mooier zijn als ze vanaf deze relatief rustige en beschermde omgeving, naar een (tussen-)huisje kunnen gaan. Jim en Judy zijn gezond, gezellig en gemoedelijk. Wie gun hen de 3 r’en? Flora’s pups hebben geen ‘bijzonder’ verhaal. Ze zijn niet van de weg geplukt, niet moederloos en ook niet dakloos! 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐫 𝐳𝐞 𝐳𝐢𝐣𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐩 𝐳𝐨𝐞𝐤 𝐧𝐚𝐚𝐫 𝐡𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞. Jim (M) en Judy (V) zijn per ongeluk gekomen en wonen bij de buren van de FTS Safe Haven. Voor moedertje Flora is zelfs al een sterilisatie-toezegging van de gemeente uitgeschreven! Maar voor Jim en Judy was dat te laat. De buren wisten natuurlijk wel naar wie ze toe kwamen toen de pupjes geboren waren en Giannis beloofde meteen te helpen. Inmiddels zijn ze 2 maanden oud en hebben ze de eerste vaccinatie gehad. Ze zaten onder de vlooien en dus worden ze ook behandeld tegen vlooien, teken en wormen. Het zijn lieve pups en ze zijn goed benaderbaar. Ze leven natuurlijk ook in een huiselijke omgeving (wel anders dan bij ons…) De vrijwilligers houden ze al die tijd al goed in de gaten en zullen ervoor zorgen dat ze niets te kort komen. Zodra moedertje Flora ‘klaar met ze is’, zal ze naar de dierenarts gebracht worden voor sterilisatie.
