Gentle and easy going Joe is looking to leave kennels behind! Fostering saves lives - can you foster Joe? Fostering is the heart of what we do at RIGHT. Every greyhound needs a real home to decompress, learn about everyday life and show their personality. It's how we make the best matches for life. Yesterday, houndsome Joe left kennel life behind forever and made his way to Dublin, where he has now settled into his loving foster home 🏡. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Sheena, Paul and adorable resident houndie Dorrie for responding to our foster appeal and giving this sweet fella the chance to jump off our waiting list and begin his journey home 🙏. Joe's foster family share that he is absolutely adorable and that photos simply do not do him justice. He is equal parts houndsome and affectionate, so every time they try to take a photo he is far too busy trying to get a cuddle 📸. He is settling in really well, and he and resident houndie Dorrie have already become fast friends 🐕. Good with calm dogs. 🌿 Garden: Fully enclosed and secure if present. 🕐 Home presence: Someone home most of the day to give a young pup the time and reassurance he needs. ⏰ Time commitment: Temporary, usually 2-8 weeks until adoption. • You give him his very first experience of home life and human companionship. • You help him build the confidence he needs to thrive as a pet. • You free up a space so RIGHT can help the next hound on the waiting list. • You prepare him for the forever family who is out there waiting for him. • It's a temporary commitment that makes a lifelong difference. • All costs covered: food, vet care, supplies. • Regular check-ins and support. • Guidance every step of the way. • Most placements last 2-8 weeks.
