In the spring, another allergy test was conducted, and it showed that she still has an allergy to flea bites, but this is well managed through freezing. Additionally, a genetic test was ordered, and it turned out that Nala has a genetic defect, which cannot be changed. Nala now eats normal dog food, and the foster home keeps it in the freezer for 48 hours, which she tolerates well. She also no longer takes any medication and is in the best health. It would be nice if this nice female dog could finally arrive at her own home. Update June 2023: Nala, now Kirá, still waits in her foster home, where she lives with other dogs and cats without any problems. Unfortunately, her fur is still very thin. Update: Kirá, now Nala, came to Germany in the spring of 2020 and lived with children in a family home. Over time, it became increasingly clear that Kirá / Nala has problems with her fur. There are hardly any hairs on her ears, and the fur on her head and body is also thin. Kirá / Nala often has itching and scratches frequently. To investigate her symptoms, in addition to an Ungar profile on Mediterranean diseases, an environmental allergy test was also conducted. The result of this test is that Kirá / Nala is likely a food allergy sufferer. Currently, she eats wet food of the horse variety and takes antipruritic tablets, which have been reduced to ¼ tablet. We hope to be able to completely stop the tablets in the long term. We are looking for people with understanding for her allergy; despite everything, Kirá / Nala is a nice, friendly, and clever female dog. She would like to learn and a visit to dog training classes would certainly be great for the nice female dog. Kirá / Nala is looking for a forever home. Background: Kirá and her two sisters, Kelly and Kleo, had a rough start in life. She was born to a small female dog that lives with a ninety-year-old lady. The old lady is understandably overwhelmed with the young ones and has turned to our Hungarian colleagues for help. Kirá now lives with her sisters in a foster home with other dogs and cats. The two children of the foster home take care of the young dogs affectionately. As Kirá is still very young, she would like to learn the dog ABC. Des Weiteren wurde noch ein Gentest in Auftrag gegeben und es stellte sich heraus, Nala hat einen Gendefekt, daran ist auch nichts zu ändern. Nala bekommt normales Hundefutter, die Pflegestelle fiert es immer 48 Std in der Kühltruhe ein und es wird von ihr gut vertragen und sie bekommt auch keine Medikamente mehr und erfreut sich bester Gesundheit.. Schön, wäre es, wenn diese nette Hündin endlich einmal in ihrem eigenen Zuhause ankommen dürfte. Update Juni 2023: Kirá jetzt Nala wartet immer noch in ihrer Pflegestelle, dort lebt sie mit anderen Hunden und auch Katzen problemlos zusammen. Leider ist ihr Fell immer noch sehr dünn, Nala bekommt jetzt normales Hundefutter, da wir davon ausgehen, das es sich nicht um eine Futtermittelunverträglichkeit handelt. Schön, wäre es, wenn diese nette Hündin endlich einmal in ihrem eigenen Zuhause ankommen dürfte. Update: Kirá jetzt Nala kam in Frühjahr 2020 nach Deutschland in eine Familie und lebte dort mit Kindern in einer Wohnung. Leider haben sich die Lebensverhältnisse in der Familie geändert und so konnte Kirá / Nala nicht mehr in der Familie bleiben. Sie befindet sich nun auf einer Pflegestelle mit weiteren Hunden. Hinzu kommt, dass im Laufe der Zeit immer offensichtliche wurde, dass Kirá / Nala Probleme mit dem Fell hat. Auf den Ohren wachsen so gut wie keine Haare, auf dem Kopf und Körper war das Fell auch eher dünn. Kirá / Nala hat oft Juckreiz und kratzt sich häufig. Um ihren Symptomen auf den Grund zu gehen wurde neben einem Ungarnprofil auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten auch ein Test auf Umweltallergien gemacht. Das Ergebnis dieser Test ist, dass Kirá / Nala vermutlich Futtermittelallergikerin ist. Zurzeit bekommt sie Nassfutter der Sorte Pferd und Tabletten gegen den Juckreiz, die jetzt auf ¼ Tablette reduziert werden konnten. Wir hoffen darauf die Tabletten langfristig ganz absetzen zu können. Für Kirá / Nala suchen wir Menschen mit Verständnis für ihre Allergie, sie ist trotz allem eine nette, freundliche, clevere Hündin. Sie möchte gerne lernen und auch der Besuch einer Hundeschule wäre sicher toll für die nette Hündin. Kirá / Nala sucht ein Zuhause für immer. Vorgeschichte: Kirá und ihre zwei Schwestern Kelly und Kleo hatten einen holprigen Start ins Leben. Sie wurde von einer kleinen Hündin geboren, die bei einer neunzig-jährigen Dame lebt. Die alte Dame ist nun verständlicherweise mit dem jungen Gemüse völlig überfordert und hat sich hilfesuchend an unsere ungarischen Kollegen gewandt. Kirá lebt jetzt mit ihren Schwestern auf einer Pflegestelle mit weiteren Hunden und auch Katzen zusammen. Die beiden Kinder der Pflegestelle kümmern sich rührend um die Junghunde.
