We took in many cats from poor living conditions in May. They come in all different colors, shapes, fur lengths and personalities, most of whom are still recovering health-wise. Hanoi was one of the lucky ones who got enough food and somehow remained physically okay. However, his mental state is shaken, his trust in humans shattered. Lisbon is a bit timid but also curious. She can't quite decide if she should approach people or keep her distance to see what they want and do first. You can tell from the picture that Lisbon is still very thin. Lisbon's wishes are simple: food, warmth, love, attention, patience and understanding that she needs time to adjust to this big change in her life. Lisbon is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. She and the other cats from the group have only lived together so far and won't be adopted individually. They should move in pairs or there should be a similarly aged friendly companion cat available.

Im Mai haben wir sehr viele Katzen aus schlechter Haltung übernommen. Viele unterschiedliche Farben, Formen, Felllängen, Charaktere und darunter auch Lissabon. Lissabon war zunächst schüchtern, ist aber mittlerweile aufgetaut und hat sich zu einer frechen Göre entwickelt, die den anderen im Gehege auch gern mal sagt, wo es lang geht. Nicht böse, aber bestimmt. Entscheidend ist Sympathie und Lissabons Tagesform (kennt man ja, wir sind ja auch nicht jeden Tag gleich gesprächig). Man sieht übrigens auf dem Bild, dass Lissabon noch sehr dünn ist. Lissabons Wünsche sind einfach: Essen, Wärme, Liebe, Aufmerksamkeit, Geduld und Verständnis dafür, dass sie mit der großen, wenn auch positiven Veränderung in ihrem Leben erstmal klarkommen muss und sich in einer Selbstfindungsphase befindet. Lissabon ist kastriert, geimpft und gechipt. Sie und die anderen Katzen aus dem Bestand haben bislang nur in der großen Gruppe gelebt und werden nicht in Einzelhaltung vermittelt. Sie sollten zu zweit umziehen oder es sollte eine ungefähr gleichaltrige nette Partnerkatze vorhanden sein.
