I am Nelson. I was born on February 20, 2017, and I am a beautiful Cane Corso, strong, muscular... and above all very kind. Still in great shape, I really don't look my age. The people at the shelter often say they can't understand how a dog as great and adorable as me could have been found wandering as a stray and then brought to the pound. Yet that's exactly what happened to me. Fortunately, today I'm safe at the shelter. I'm not unhappy here: I share my box with two lovely females and everything goes very well (with males it also goes well). But let's be honest... a shelter will never replace a real family and a home all to myself. At first, I can be a bit shy for a few minutes. I just need to watch you and understand that I can trust you. And once that's done... I reveal myself to be a real little gem! I am gentle, adorable and very affectionate. At the shelter, I have become very attached to the people who take care of me. I love their presence, the moments of tenderness and the attention. I am also a dog with good basics: I know simple commands, I can sit and even shake hands. Despite my size, I walk well on a leash and walks with me are very pleasant. Today, what I'm looking for above all is my family. The one that will see the wonderful dog that I am. I don't get along at all with cats! Maybe this family... is you?

Je m’appelle Nelson. Je suis né le 20 février 2017, et je suis un superbe Cane Corso, robuste, musclé… et surtout très gentil. Encore en grande forme je ne fais vraiment pas mon âge. Les humains du refuge disent souvent qu’ils ont du mal à comprendre comment un chien aussi génial et adorable que moi ait pu être retrouvé en errance puis en fourrière. Pourtant c’est bien ce qui m’est arrivé. Heureusement, aujourd’hui je suis en sécurité au refuge. Je ne suis pas malheureux ici : je partage mon box avec deux charmantes femelles et tout se passe très bien (avec les mâles ça passe aussi). Mais soyons honnêtes… un refuge ne remplacera jamais une vraie famille et un foyer rien qu’à moi. Au premier abord, je peux être un peu craintif pendant quelques minutes. J’ai simplement besoin de vous observer et de comprendre que je peux vous faire confiance. Et une fois que c’est fait… je me révèle être une vraie petite pépite ! Je suis doux, adorable et très affectueux. Au refuge, je me suis beaucoup attaché aux personnes qui s’occupent de moi. J’aime leur présence, les moments de tendresse et les attentions. Je suis aussi un chien qui a de bonnes bases : je connais les ordres simples, je sais m’asseoir et même donner la patte. Malgré mon gabarit je marche bien en laisse et les promenades avec moi sont très agréables Aujourd’hui, ce que je cherche par-dessus tout, c’est ma famille. Celle qui verra le chien merveilleux que je suis. je ne m'entend pas du tout avec les chats ! Peut-être que cette famille… c’est vous ?
