A black male cat, now neutered, age: born circa 2016. The cat was found in Haiger-Allendorf and has been at the shelter since June 10th. He was neither neutered nor microchipped. This has now been taken care of. Unfortunately, he is FIV positive. This means he cannot go outside and must be kept either as a single animal or with other FIV positive cats. FIV is not transmissible to humans or other animals, only cats can contract it. Unfortunately, he is still not cooperative. We hope that this will change.

Fundkater, männlich, jetzt kastriertAlter: geb. ca. 2016 Der schwarze Kater wurde in Haiger-Allendorf gefunden, er ist seit dem 10.6. im Tierheim. Er war weder kastriert noch gekennzeichnet. Dies wurde mittlerweile bei uns nachgeholt. Leider ist er FIV-positiv. Das heißt, er darf nicht mehr nach draußen und muss entweder als Einzeltier oder mit anderen FIV-positiven Katzen gehalten werden. FIV ist nicht auf Menschen oder andere Tiere übertragbar, nur Katzen können sich anstecken. Mittlerweile wird Nino zutraulicher und lässt sich gerne anfassen.
