Ideal Home: Experienced owners preferred, resident children 12+ Meet Nissan – A Stunning Brindle Boy Looking for Love Just 3 years old, Nissan is a truly handsome brindle boy who is waiting for someone special to help him begin his next chapter as a much-loved pet. Nissan is a recent arrival at Crossing Cottage, so we're still getting to know him and discovering more about his lovely personality. What we do know is that this young lad has so much potential, and we're looking forward to seeing him grow in confidence as he settles into our kennels, and his new life once he has found his humans! Nissan enjoys the company of a female greyhound, but he could also be happy as an only dog, provided he has a loving family who can give him the time, attention and companionship he needs. At the moment, the world outside the kennels can feel rather overwhelming for Nissan. He's particularly wary of traffic, which can frighten him and cause him to panic. When this happens, he can become strong on the lead, so he'll need a patient and understanding owner who recognises his worries and is prepared to help him build confidence at his own pace. Nissan will need someone who can offer him calm, consistent guidance and avoid putting him in situations that feel too much for him while he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. His future family will need to be mindful of his reactions around traffic and committed to helping him feel safer and more secure on his walks. He's still a young dog with plenty of time to learn, grow and discover the joys of home life. With the right person beside him, we hope Nissan will gradually gain the confidence to enjoy new experiences and relax into being the much-loved companion he deserves to be.
