Phee is a sweet and gentle girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. Phee is nervous and, having had very limited experience or exposure to the outside world, she can find new sights, sounds and experiences quite overwhelming. She will need a special person who understands that confidence won't come overnight and is prepared to help her discover the world gradually and positively. Her new family will need to give her plenty of time, reassurance and encouragement, allowing her to take things at her own pace. With patience, consistency and lots of positive experiences, we hope Phee will gradually learn that the world isn't such a scary place. Phee would benefit from a quiet, secure home with someone who can dedicate the time needed to help her settle and gain confidence. Her adopters will need to be prepared for the possibility that everyday things such as going for walks, meeting new people and experiencing unfamiliar environments may initially be difficult for her. We know that helping a nervous dog find their feet can take time, but watching them grow in confidence and discover new things can be incredibly rewarding.
