Pine is a young dog with a calm and sensitive nature, who has fears and needs a stable, calm environment with people who treat her with kindness and gentleness. Her history is very difficult: she was rescued along with her son Pine from a landfill, where they survived as best they could, eating what they found among the trash. This lack of stability has left its mark on her, making her a fearful dog who needs time and patience to trust. Despite this, Pine is a very noble and caring dog. At the shelter, she has shown great sensitivity and has cared for several puppies with great dedication, showing that she has a strong maternal instinct. She gets along very well with other dogs and can live without problems with dogs of any age, so a home with more dogs would be ideal for her. Piña es una perrita joven de carácter tranquilo y sensible, con miedos, que necesita un entorno estable, calmado y con personas que la traten siempre con mucha dulzura y sin brusquedad. Su historia es muy dura: fue rescatada junto a su hijo Piñón de un vertedero, donde ambos sobrevivían como podían, alimentándose de lo que encontraban entre los residuos. Esa falta de estabilidad ha dejado huella en ella, haciéndola una perra con miedos que necesita tiempo y paciencia para confiar. A pesar de ello, Piña es una perrita muy noble y cuidadora. En el refugio ha demostrado una gran sensibilidad y ha cuidado de varios cachorros con muchísima dedicación, mostrando que tiene un fuerte instinto maternal. Se lleva muy bien con otros perros y puede convivir sin problema con perros de cualquier edad, por lo que un hogar con más perros sería ideal para ella. Por su carácter, encajaría mejor en una familia de pocas personas, en un entorno tranquilo, preferiblemente alejado de zonas muy urbanas o ruidosas.
