Příběh Robina je trochu neobvyklý ve srovnání s tím, co jsme na základně zvyklí vidět. Robine přišel s jednou z jeho zadních nohou úplně atrofovanou, ale jaké bylo naše překvapení, když jsme zjistili, že měl podstupenou traumatólní operaci. Měl železnou desku a několik šroubů zapuštěných, ale ani jeden z nich nedělal svou práci, výsledek byl katastrofa. Katastrofa byla tak velká, že zranění, která utrpěl, byly úplně nevratné a my jsme mohli jen amputovat jeho nohu, aby se zbavil bolesti a konečně začal nový život. Robine’s story is a bit unusual compared to what we are used to seeing at the foundation. Robine arrived with one of his hind legs totally atrophied, but what was our surprise when we saw that he had undergone trauma surgery. I had a plate and several screws implanted, but none of them were doing their job, the result had been a disaster. The disaster was so great that the injuries he had suffered were totally irreversible and we could only amputate his paw to end his pain and finally start a new life.
