True to his name, Scout is loyal, dedicated and keen to be by your side — very much like a little boy scout. He is a friendly, affectionate youngster who enjoys company and will make a wonderful companion for the right family. Scout is still young, so he will need a home ready to continue his training, socialisation and lead work. He will also need guidance with all the usual puppy and adolescent dog skills as he grows in confidence and learns about the world. He would suit a family who can give him time, patience, routine, exercise and plenty of love. Another friendly dog in the home may also be helpful, depending on introductions.An active home. Scout passed his cat test. Scout will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including a Uranotest Quattro for Leishmania infantum, Ehrlichia canis, Anaplasma and Dirofilaria immitis, a test for Canine Brucellosis, and his own Portuguese passport. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
