Tuerti is a 14-year-old senior cat who was picked up by the health authorities in the Guadalmina Alta area, without a microchip. He is blind in one eye and was also found with one of his paws in very poor condition. He has had surgery on his paw and is now in a foster home, where he is receiving all the care he needs. Eventually, the affected paw will need to be amputated, and we hope this procedure will allow him to feel much better. But if there’s one thing that defines Tuerti, it’s his character. He’s an affectionate, calm and very chatty cat. He loves having company and particularly enjoys being cuddled. He lets himself be picked up, likes having his fur brushed and accepts his daily care with great patience. He uses the litter tray perfectly and allows his teeth to be cleaned, his medication to be administered and his claws to be clipped without any trouble. He is a cat who trusts people, which makes looking after him very easy. He also gets on well with other cats and tolerates dogs, so he enjoys the company of other animals. Although he is deaf and has poor eyesight, Tuerti adapts very well to his surroundings, and this does not prevent him from leading a peaceful life and enjoying the little things in everyday life. 💛 Tuerti is 14 years old, but he still has so much love to give.
