Wendy is a bubbly and cheerful Lurcher cross with a lovely personality. She enjoys spending time with people and has a fun, affectionate nature that shines through once she feels comfortable. Alongside her playful side, Wendy can also be quite sensitive at times and will appreciate a gentle approach when faced with new situations and environments. Wendy can feel a little worried when exploring unfamiliar surroundings, she often prefers to take things at her own pace. For this reason, Wendy will need a home with her own private garden where she can relax, build her confidence and enjoy some time outdoors without feeling overwhelmed. Wendy can be quite shy when meeting other dogs and is still building her confidence in social situations. She can be a little unsure during initial introductions and prefers dogs who approach her calmly and politely rather than being overly enthusiastic. She is currently looking to be the only dog in the household but would benefit from spending time with calm, confident dog friends who can help show her that interactions with other dogs can be positive and enjoyable. Wendy is a real foodie and thoroughly enjoys her meals, especially when they are provided in enriching and engaging ways. She loves opportunities to use her brain and her nose at mealtimes, making food-based enrichment a wonderful way to keep her occupied. One of Wendy’s favourite activities is having her food scattered, allowing her to sniff out every last piece. Wendy would make a wonderful addition to a home and will bring lots of happiness and smiles.
