Rodeo is an adorable 16 week old Akita cross who is full of fun, personality and puppy mischief! This gorgeous boy is now looking for a loving forever home where he can continue to learn, grow and become the best dog he can be. Rodeo is sociable with both people and other dogs. He could potentially live with another playful dog following a successful introduction, although this isn't essential provided his new family is committed to giving him regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs. Rodeo could live with children aged 6 years and over who are comfortable around boisterous, energetic dogs. Like many young puppies, Rodeo is currently going through the puppy stage where he wants to explore with his mouth so his new owners will need to gently redirect him onto appropriate items such as toys. Puppy reward based training classes will be essential to help Rodeo develop good manners, confidence and the skills he needs to become a well adjusted adult dog. His new family will also need to be around for most of the day initially, gradually building up his time alone and continuing to support him with his toilet training. As Rodeo grows, he will thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation and opportunities to explore the world. With the right guidance, patience and plenty of positive reinforcement, Rodeo has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
