Meet Titus, a sensitive little soul looking for a quiet place to call home. Titus can be a little worried when meeting new people and will need time to build a relationship and learn that he can trust you. Once he knows you, his affectionate side really shines through, adopters would need to commit to a few meets at the centre to start to build a bond. Titus enjoys going out for sniffy walks and exploring quieter environments, although he can be easily startled by movement, noises and busy surroundings. His new family will need to be patient and help him build his confidence at his own pace, with plenty of reassurance and encouragement. Titus would suit a calm, quieter home with a predictable routine and minimal visitors. He could potentially live with another calm, socially confident dog following a successful meet, but would be better suited to a dog who enjoys walking alongside a companion rather than intense play. Due to his sensitive nature, Titus is looking for an adult-only home, although older children aged 14+ may be considered with the right experience. He would also benefit from a family who has some previous experience with dogs and understands the importance of giving a nervous dog time and space to settle. Titus is very food motivated and loves his tasty treats, which will be a great help with his confidence building and training. He may need some support learning to be comfortable being left alone, so this will need to be introduced gradually. For the right family, Titus will be a loving and rewarding little companion who will enjoy his quiet walks, plenty of sofa time and simply being close to the people he trusts.
