AL D.O.B. 4.8.22 Handsome 4 year old AL arrived with us on the 9th May 2026. He has settled well, loves to see our volunteer walkers each day and walks well on the lead. He is interested to see there are other breeds of dog on his walks but doesn't react negatively towards them. He has shown he is a confident, friendly and affectionate boy who also enjoys spending time in the enrichment (home from home) room. AL doesn't like to miss out and loves to be involved in everything that's going on! He has spent several days out with our volunteers and another hound and has always behaved well. Just this week he had a trip to Rivington with volunteer Alyson and hound Mabel. We're told he was 'such a good lad who travelled well in the car and was fine with any passing dogs, large or small'. Thanks to Alyson for giving AL these experiences of the wider world, we're sure they will help as he transitions from a racing greyhound to a much loved pet. 🔶AL could live in a home with another female hound or would be equally happy as an only dog. 🔶We're looking for a home where AL would have company for a large part of the day 🔶We would prefer any children in the household to be 13 plus years of age.
