Alani is a shelter kennel very cautious. He stays as far away from people as possible and easily hides in the corner if strangers come into the kennel run. He clearly watches a lot of Dumlen and Augustin's behavior and would surely benefit from a confident dog companion when being adopted. Alani does not bark much in the shelter kennel. It is important for the future home or foster home to understand that he has not really had much experience while in the shelter kennel and therefore needs a lot of support in learning everything new.

Alani on tarhalla hyvin varovainen. Hän hakeutuu mahdollisimman kauas ihmisistä ja piiloutuu herkästi koppiin, jos vieraita tulee sisälle häkkiin. Hän katsoo selvästi paljon mallia Dumlen ja Augustin käytöksestä ja hyötyisikin varmasti reippaasta koirakaverista kotiutuessaan. Alani ei tarhalla juuri hauku. Tulevan kodin tai kotihoitopaikan on tärkeää ymmärtää, ettei hän ole tarhalla kasvaessa saanut juuri mitään kokemuksia ja tarvitseekin siksi paljon tukea kaiken uuden oppimiseen.
