22-10-26 Antigua is a very pretty lad who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. He gets so excited when we enter his kennel and will happily come over to give us little kisses on our hands. He is easy to handle and is clearly interested in us, although he is not quite brave enough to become our friend just yet. It is lovely to see his curiosity shining through, and with a little time and patience, we hope he will continue to grow in confidence. Antigua gets on wonderfully with his kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so he will need a kind resident dog in his new home to help guide him and give him the reassurance he needs as he settles in and finds his paws. He can live with older, dog-savvy teens, aged 13+ who are sensible and will allow him time to settle in. He will need his adopters to have experience with ex-breeders to better understand his needs. As Antigua has never lived in a home before, he will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. His new family will need to be patient and understanding, giving him the time and encouragement he needs to adjust to his new surroundings. With a loving home and a friendly canine companion by his side, Antigua has every chance to grow into a happy and confident little companion. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
