A ARA was left at the shelter by her former owner, who claimed to no longer have financial means to have a dog. The poor ARA lived her whole life in a home since she was a puppy and coming to the shelter at this stage of her life was a huge shock for her. She is very nervous, hides in a corner, trembles and tries to escape. She has already managed to escape twice. She desperately looks for the way home, but doesn't know where to go and at some point gives up and lets herself be taken back to the shelter. She is a deeply unhappy dog. At the same time, the ARA is very gentle. We know that she is used to living indoors, walks well on a leash, travels well by car and knows how to sit on command. The ARA will be given vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and with a microchip.

A Ara foi deixada no abrigo pela sua antiga tutora, que alegou já não ter condições financeiras para ter um cão. A pobre Ara viveu toda a sua vida num lar desde cachorra e, chegar ao abrigo nesta fase da vida foi um choque enorme para ela. Está muito nervosa, esconde-se num canto, treme e tenta fugir. Já por duas vezes conseguiu escapar. Procura desesperadamente o caminho de casa, mas não sabe para onde ir e, a certa altura, desiste e deixa-se levar de volta para o abrigo. É uma cadela profundamente infeliz. Ao mesmo tempo, a Ara é muito meiga. Sabemos que está habituada a viver dentro de casa, passeia bem à trela, anda bem de carro e sabe sentar a pedido. A Ara será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
