Blake Shelton sadly hasn’t had the best start in life, so is looking for patient adopters who can take things at his pace, and introduce him to home life one step at a time. He’s a worried boy, so is ideally looking for a home with older secondary school aged children who can give him space, and a home with minimal visitors so he can settle into a predictable routine. He gets a lot of confidence around other dogs, so a new home with an established dog that could show him the ropes would be beneficial, pending successful dog mixes here at the Rehoming Centre. Blake isn’t used to walking out and about on a lead and harness yet, so his own secure garden would be needed whilst his new family continue to work with him on this. Blake’s new family will need to visit him at the Rehoming Centre multiple times to build a bond with him, and will be working closely with our behaviour team to help transition him into the home, so please bear this in mind when applying. Meet Blake, our beautiful 1 and ½ year old Poodle cross who is now looking for his forever home. Although he doesn’t have much home life experience, he has quickly grown fond of a sofa, and loves nothing more than stretching out his paws! Blake is also starting to discover how fun toys can be, and enjoys throwing them up into the air and catching them!
