Please welcome our newest hunk, Chunk, to the GBSR family! Chunk comes to us following the sad loss of one of his owners. His mum found herself struggling to care for him and made the heartbreaking but selfless decision to ask us for help. It’s clear this boy has been loved, and we ask for kindness and understanding towards his family. Our lovely Sherrill and Andy collected Chunk and cared for him during his first few days in foster, before he moved to his longer-term foster home with Ben in the South East. Thank you all for giving him a safe, loving place to begin this next chapter. Chunk is five years old and is already neutered. He’s already showing us that he’s a lovely big lad with plenty of puppy energy! He’s experienced a lot of change recently, so we’ll give him the time, patience and reassurance he needs to settle and let his personality shine. He’ll soon be heading to the vets for a full check-up so we can assess his health and arrange any care he needs. At first glance, he appears to be in good condition, which is lovely to see. For now, Chunk’s only job is to settle in and get to know his foster family. He isn’t available for adoption, so please don’t submit applications or message with adoption enquiries yet.
