Derek could live with children 13+, he could possibly live with another dog and maybe cats or other small animals, though we have no history of him around such animals Derek is very much the typical Staffordshire Bull Terrier, loving, playful and silly! He does have his moments where he is quite boisterous and is quite a big lad at around 25kg which is why we feel a home with slightly older children would be best suited to him Derek has found life in the shelter a bit stressful, particularly in and around the kennel blocks, but once he is away from them and had a chance to decompress a little, he is a much happier lad. Derek loves his daily walks and can walk nicely on lead, but will pull a bit, particularly at the beginning of his walk, his new humans will need to be strong to manage this on the occasions he does pull Overall Derek is a truly lovely lad with lots of enthusiasm for life! He would benefit from owners who have had Bull breeds before and can embrace his silly ways!
