Duke moved into the shelter in mid-June 2026. He’s a charming, roughly two-year-old male with beautiful, pricked-up ears and a small size. He’s a friendly mixed-breed dog who is still getting used to his new surroundings. Duke is still shy, but each day he takes small steps forward and grows more trusting of us. The first few days at the shelter are usually challenging. Duke has already explored every corner of the shelter and enjoyed time on the outdoor run, where he followed the volunteer very nicely. He’s also had his first short walk outside the shelter. Although he’s still a bit uncertain at times, his attitude toward people is very friendly. He also reacts positively when interacting with other dogs. Duke is truly a wonderful, calm dog with enormous potential.

Duke zamieszkał w schronisku w połowie czerwca 2026 roku. To uroczy, około dwuletni samiec, o pięknych, sterczących uszkach i niewielkich rozmiarach. Jest sympatycznym kundelkiem, który dopiero oswaja się z nową rzeczywistością. Duke jest jeszcze nieśmiały, ale z każdym dniem robi małe kroki naprzód i coraz bardziej nam ufa. Pierwsze dni w schronisku z reguły bywają trudne. Duke zwiedził już schroniskowe zakamarki, korzystał z wybiegu, gdzie bardzo ładnie podążał za wolontariuszką. Ma też za sobą pierwszy, krótki spacer poza schronisko. Choć nadal bywa troszkę niepewny, jego nastawienie do ludzi jest bardzo przyjazne. W kontaktach z innymi psami również reaguje pozytywnie. Duke to naprawdę wspaniały, spokojny pies z ogromnym potencjałem.
