Esther has done brilliantly in her foster home, where she's shown what a lovely companion she is once she feels safe. She enjoys a couple of relaxed, sniffy walks each day before curling up under the duvet for a snooze. She's housetrained and can be left for a couple of hours once settled. Esther can be sensitive to busy environments and sudden noises, so she's looking for understanding owners who will continue to build her confidence and advocate for her needs. If you can give her the time she needs to settle, you'll gain a wonderfully affectionate little companion. Say hello to Esther, our gorgeous 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. She's looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can relax and enjoy life at her own pace. Esther would prefer to be the only pet in the home, although she's happy to make calm doggy friends out and about. Esther is wary of new people and prefers to make friends in her own time, so she's looking for patient adopters who will let her come to them. She's likely to need several meets before adoption, in order to get to know you, but once she's confident you'll be welcomed home with happy bounces and plenty of cuddles.
