Hugo is about 8 years old… and six of those years were spent in an animal shelter. He arrived there with his brother after an intervention due to poor conditions on the land of Gmina Maków. The beginnings were very difficult; the boys were unfamiliar with good human contact, they were afraid of people and the world. Their socialization required a great deal of time, patience, and effort. Today, they are already quite different dogs. Hugo is more cautious among his brothers. He observes new people from a distance and needs time to trust. But once he gets to know a person… he comes running for a pat and affection. His heart can also be won over with treats. In interactions with other dogs, he can be unsure, and then he might bark. He loves peaceful walks in the forest the most. He slowly walks from bush to bush, exploring the world with his nose. His front legs bear the marks of old fractures, so he has trouble with faster running, but it doesn’t take away from his joy in life at all. Hugo is exceptional with his striped markings and smooth coat. He is a dog who most needs peace, safety, and a patient human. We are looking for a home full of warmth and love for him, a place where he will finally feel that he truly belongs to a family.

HUGO ma około 8 lat… a aż sześć z nich spędził w schronisku. Trafił tam razem ze swoim bratem po interwencyjnym odebraniu ze złych warunków z terenu Gmina Maków. Początki były bardzo trudne, chłopaki nie znali dobrego kontaktu z człowiekiem, bali się ludzi i świata. Ich socjalizacja wymagała ogromu czasu, cierpliwości i pracy. Dziś to już zupełnie inne psy. HUGO jest bardziej ostrożnym z braci. Nowe osoby obserwuje z dystansu i potrzebuje chwili, by zaufać. Ale kiedy już pozna człowieka… sam przychodzi po głaski i czułość. Do jego serca można też trafić przez smaczki. W kontaktach z innymi psami bywa niepewny, wtedy zdarza mu się szczekać. Najbardziej kocha spokojne spacery po lesie. Powoli spaceruje od krzaczka do krzaczka, poznając świat swoim noskiem. Jego przednie łapki noszą ślady starych złamań, dlatego ma trudności z szybszym bieganiem, ale wcale nie odbiera mu to radości życia. HUGO zachwyca wyjątkowym pręgowanym umaszczeniem i gładką sierścią. Jest psem, który najbardziej potrzebuje spokoju, bezpieczeństwa i cierpliwego człowieka. Szukamy dla niego domu pełnego ciepła i miłości. Miejsca, w którym w końcu poczuje, że naprawdę należy do rodziny.
