Humus is one of those dogs that probably no one ever cared about—until he disappeared, and then it was too late. He came to us severely emaciated, devouring his food in seconds, practically snatching treats right out of your hand. You could tell he’d been starved for a long time. It was also clear that he didn’t trust people—he’d probably been chased from corner to corner. During the few months he spent at the shelter, Humus made significant progress. Although he’s become more open and friendly, he’s still a fearful dog who doesn’t like being handled for too long—for instance, wearing a harness or being leashed for extended periods. After adoption, we’ll provide the new family with support from our behaviorist, who knows Humus very well. Humus absolutely loves treats and walks. We don’t recommend him for homes with children. By adopting a dog, you’re taking responsibility for the life of a living creature for the next decade or so. An animal is not a thing—we don’t give dogs away on chains! A condition of adoption is signing an adoption agreement, covering the costs of preventive care, and agreeing to potential pre- and post-adoption visits. Another requirement is having the dog spayed or neutered within an agreed-upon timeframe, provided this procedure hasn’t already been performed.

🏠 Przebywa w schronisku na sektorze CHumus jest jednym z tych psiaków, o które pewnie nigdy nikt nie dbał jest, to jest, a jak zniknął, to trudno. Trafił do nas mocno wychudzony, miskę opróżniał w sekundę, smaczki wręcz wyrywał z ręki. Chyba chciał najeść się na zapas Widać też było, że nie ufa ludziom, pewnie był przeganiany z kąta w kąt. Przez kilka miesięcy spędzonych w schronisku Humus zrobił spore postępy i mimo tego, że się otworzył, nadal jest psem lękliwym, nie lubi jak zbyt długo się przy nim majstruje, np. zbyt długo zakłada szelki czy przypina smycz. Po adopcji zapewniamy przyszłej rodzinie wsparcie naszej behawiorystki, która dobrze poznała Humusa. Humus uwielbia smaczki i spacery. Nie polecamy go do domu z dziećmi. Kto pokocha Humusa? To cudowny pies, który zasługuje na podarowanie mu szansy na lepsze życie. Zwierzę nie jest rzeczą. Nie wydajemy psów na łańcuch! Warunkiem adopcji jest podpisanie umowy adopcyjnej, zwrot kosztów profilaktyki oraz zgoda na ewentualne wizyty przed i poadopcyjne. Warunkiem adopcji jest też wykonanie zabiegu sterylizacji/kastracji w ustalonym terminie, o ile zabieg ten nie był wykonany wcześniej.
