Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Iris has managed to be left home alone in her previous home for a few hours. We feel she may find it easier to settle if she can’t see any other dogs walking past the home. Any time left should be built up gradually. Do I have any medical conditions? History of Iris has historic medical conditions, namely itchy skin and Stress Behaviour, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Iris would be best suited to being the only dog in the home. This is due to her need for attention from people, we feel she wouldn’t enjoy sharing her people or space with another pet. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? If being rehomed with children, they will need to be over 13 years old , due to her sensitivities and excitability behaviours shown here at Woodgreen, which we can go through with you if you apply to adopt her. What type of environment would suit me? We feel that Iris would benefit from a secure fully enclosed private garden to call her own. She loves to roll around off lead and cannot do this in public. The garden must been fenced 6ft+ minimum as she is very agile, she is an opportunist and has been known to open doors. About Iris Iris is a chunky, big-hearted Staffy who hasn’t quite realised her size but everything she does comes from a place of love. She’s full of fun, adores her toys, and will happily entertain herself (or you!) with a good play session. On walks, Iris loves to sniff and explore the world at her own pace. She’s a joyful, affectionate girl who will bring plenty of personality and laughter to her new home.
