Jasper is a shy and sensitive boy who can be quite guarded around new people and unfamiliar surroundings. He may initially prefer to hide but tasty treats can help encourage him out and begin to build his trust. Once Jasper feels comfortable with you, he enjoys attention and being groomed, which will help keep his coat in good condition. He is comfortable being picked up but hasn’t shown much interest in toys at the Centre yet, although we hope his playful side will emerge once he feels settled in his new home. Jasper is looking for a quieter home with an owner who has some experience with timid cats and can give him the time and patience he needs to build his confidence at his own pace.
