Lassie is a food-loving and endearing female dog who is beginning to show beautiful curiosity toward the humans around her. A nature lover, she adores rolling in grass and enjoying life's simple pleasures. She progresses daily and hints at the wonderful bond she could offer a family that trusts her. Very bonded with her sister Lucky, she would ideally be placed with her or with another dog companion. Cats don't seem to interest her. Her painful past has made her fearful: abandoned by her former owner who only took her out for hunting, she spent several years in a kennel under very difficult conditions. She will need an infinitely patient and caring family capable of letting her open up at her own pace. Lassie is a little survivor who progresses daily toward trust, waiting for the family that will accompany her to the finish line.

Du haut de ses 10 ans, Lassie est arrivée récemment au refuge et elle espère désormais trouver sa famille ! Timide lors des premiers contacts, Lassie a besoin de temps pour prendre confiance et d’un environnement calme où elle pourra évoluer à son rythme. Pour respecter sa tranquillité, un placement sans jeunes enfants sera demandé. Sociable avec ses congénères, Lassie pourra partager son quotidien avec un autre chien, à condition que celui-ci soit bien dans ses pattes et que les présentations soient positives. Son éducation et sa sociabilisation seront à poursuivre avec douceur, patience et uniquement en méthodes positives. Il faudra des adoptants prêts à s’investir, à l’accompagner et surtout à lui laisser le temps de devenir pleinement elle-même.
