Adopter Lelli Longlegs

A day in the life of Lelli Longlegs (as per her foster carer): "We both get up at around 8am and I let her out for the toilet. She then gets her breakfast and, if the weather is nice, she’ll go back to the garden. Mind you, even when it rains, she’ll still go out as it doesn’t bother her! She likes to come and go as she pleases but often brings me toys because she wants to play tug of war. We’ll then go for a walk in the afternoon – she gets really excited when she sees me put on my coat and shoes! She loves a walk. In fact, she’s quite clever as she can tell when we are on our way back from our walk and she deliberately slows down as she wants to stay out! She gets her second meal at about 6pm. She’ll then have another run around the garden before snuggling up beside me on the couch for a bit of TV." Meet Lelli Longlegs! She's a fun-loving, affectionate Lurcher with a heart as big as her long legs! Lelli is convinced that everyone she meets is a potential best friend, and she's always ready to greet people with her happy, friendly nature. Lelli's perfect day starts with a lovely walk, followed by a play session with her favourite toys before curling up on the sofa for plenty of cuddles. She's the ideal mix of playful and snuggly, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Lelli is a dog who loves to zoom about in the garden and really benefits from some off lead play time so because of this it is important that Lelli has access to a private enclosed space. As Lelli settles into her new home, she'd love to have someone around for most of the day to help her adjust and build her confidence. She could happily live with secondary school-aged children and would prefer to be the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.
