She adores meeting new people and enjoys a gentle fuss, but is equally content simply being close to her favourite humans while she relaxes and watches the world go by. Beneath her playful personality is a wonderfully affectionate and sensitive girl who is ready to build a strong bond with her new family. For the right adopter, Madge won’t just be a pet, she’ll be your calm companion on quiet mornings, your entertainment during playtime in the garden and your loyal best friend. Madge is a gentle 7-year-old Greyhound looking for a calm, loving home where she can finally settle into the easy going life she deserves. She would love living with adopters who enjoy a quieter pace of life, perhaps in a smaller residential area with peaceful walking routes where you can enjoy relaxed strolls together. A garden of her own would make Madge incredibly happy, giving her space for the occasional zoomies before curling up somewhere cosy for an afternoon snooze. She could happily live with sensible primary school aged children and would be comfortable welcoming visitors into the home, greeting new faces with a wagging tail. Madge is fairly independent and settles well with toys and a chew when left alone, though she will need a gentle settling in period and continued support with housetraining and lead manners as she adjusts to home life. She can become overexcited around other dogs and would benefit from calmer walking areas and a home on a quieter road.
