This is what we know about her: she was already in a shelter when she was very small. Adopted at three months old by a first family, she was then abandoned. A gentleman took her in for about eight years until a move... and another abandonment. That's how she ended up in our shelter. Maico is a adorable little cat. However, we think she hasn't had much contact with humans or the habit of being petted. She is very timid and often withdrawn. It is possible to pet her, but for now, she doesn't show any signs of relaxation or real comfort when spending time with her. We hope from the bottom of our hearts that she will find a gentle and patient family who will teach her to appreciate the small joys of life in peace, so that she can enjoy her remaining years fully, surrounded by respect and tenderness.

Ce que nous savons d’elle, c’est que toute petite, elle se trouvait déjà en refuge. Adoptée à l’âge de 3 mois par une première famille, elle a ensuite été abandonnée. Un monsieur l’a alors accueillie chez lui pendant environ 8 ans, jusqu’à un déménagement… et un nouvel abandon. C’est ainsi qu’elle est arrivée dans notre refuge. Maico est une minette adorable. Cependant, nous pensons qu’elle n’a pas eu beaucoup de contacts avec l’humain ni l’habitude des caresses. Elle est très craintive et souvent prostrée. Il est tout à fait possible de la caresser, mais pour le moment, elle ne montre pas encore de signes de détente ou de réel confort lorsque l’on passe du temps avec elle. Nous espérons de tout cœur lui trouver une famille douce et patiente, qui saura lui apprendre à apprécier les petits bonheurs de la vie, dans la sérénité, afin qu’elle puisse profiter pleinement de ses dernières années, entourée de respect et de tendresse.
