Mania is a 5-year-old female dog who came to the animal shelter as a stray, shy dog. However, she is brave and can open up beautifully to people with the right approach. Mania needs time to trust a person. When given a little more attention, she really enjoys the company of people she knows. Currently, she only allows herself to be put on a collar and leash by the person she trusts the most, although she still has a long way to go for long walks on a leash. She gladly takes treats from hands. Mania leaves the kennel and runs freely around the animal shelter - she nicely follows the people who go out with her as well as her dog companion. She gets along well with other dogs, almost needing their presence. Dogs give her a sense of security and help her gain confidence. Routine and repetition also make Mania feel much better.

Mania to 5-letnia suczka, która trafiła do schroniska jako półdziki, lękliwy psiak. Jest jednak odważna i przy odpowiednim podejściu potrafi pięknie otworzyć się na człowieka. Mania potrzebuje czasu, aby zaufać danej osobie. Kiedy poświęci się jej nieco więcej uwagi, bardzo cieszy się z towarzystwa osób, które zna. Obecnie pozwala założyć sobie obrożę i smycz jedynie osobie, do której ma największe zaufanie, choć do długich spacerów na smyczy jeszcze długa droga. Chętnie podejmuje smaczki z ręki. Mania wychodzi z boksu i biega luzem po schronisku – bardzo ładnie trzyma się osób, które z nią wychodzą oraz swojego psiego towarzysza. Dobrze dogaduje się z innymi psami, wręcz potrzebuje ich obecności. Psy dają jej poczucie bezpieczeństwa i pomagają nabrać pewności siebie. Schematy działania, powtarzalność i rutyna również sprawiają, że Mania czuje się znacznie lepiej.
