The Maria Alice is wonderful but requires people to spend some extra time to get to know her well. Despite her shyness, she is curious and very affectionate, so with calmness and patience, you gain a great friend here. After winning her trust, it's very worth it, as she becomes a lovely, cheerful, playful and affectionate dog. The Maria Alice feels somewhat safe inside the shelter, but on the street she shows deep fears that she can't control. A Maria Alice é maravilhosa mas exige às pessoas algum tempo extra para se dar bem a conhecer. Apesar do receio é curiosa e muito carente de mimo, pelo que com calma e paciência se ganha aqui uma grande amiga. Dopois de a conquistar vale muito a pena, torna-se uma querida pateta alegre, brincalhona e meiguinha. A Maria Alice dentro do abrigo sente-se minimamente segura, mas na rua demonstra ter medos profundos que não consegue controlar.
