Mark og MatthewShareEvangeliets drenge🐾 MARK & MATTHEW — EVANGELIETS Drenge 🐾 Et helt år er gået... og disse smukke drenge venter stadig på deres evige hjem. 💔 Da vi først introducerede Mark og Matthew, var de bare små killinger, omkring fem måneder gamle. De var babyer af Mary D’Angelo, den smukke kat reddet fra Salford Cathedral, og deres brødre Luke og John havde allerede fundet deres evige hjem. Vi troede ærligt aldrig, at et helt år senere, ville disse to smukke drenge stadig være hos os. De er nu 18 måneder gamle og er vokset op til to helt fantastiske unge katte. De er utroligt bundet, elsker hinanden og har virkelig brug for at finde deres hjem sammen. 🥹❤️ ✨ MARK er den selvsikre. Han er helt ligefrem, på den pæneste mulige måde! 😂 Han elsker mennesker, elsker opmærksomhed, elsker at sidde på skødet og vil gerne være centrum for din verden. Han er kærlig, venlig, legesyg og bare en absolut sød fyr. I løbet af det sidste år har Mark haft lidt svært ved at åbne munden. Vi har fået ham fuldt undersøgt, og desværre har han testet positiv for calicivirus, en almindelig kattevirus, der kan forårsage mund- og øvre luftvejssymptomer og kan blusse op, når en kat er stresset. Fordi Mark har haft svært ved at åbne munden, får han nogle tandbehandlinger næste uge, herunder fjernelse af nogle tænder, der forårsager ham ubehag. Vi håber, at dette vil gøre en stor forskel for ham, især når han spiser, og vi vil sørge for, at hans tandbehandling er afsluttet, før han adopteres. Dette betyder ikke, at Mark ikke kan have et lykkeligt, normalt liv eller finde sit evige hjem. ❤️ Det betyder bare, at hans nye familie skal vide, at han bærer virussen, og at stress undertiden kan forårsage symptomer som mundpine, rindende øjne eller forkølelsessymptomer. Vi vil være helt åbne og ærlige om Marks sundhed, fordi hans fremtidige familie skal vide præcis, hvad de tager på sig, men vi vil også gerne have, at folk ser katten Mark, ikke bare en diagnose. Han er en kærlig, kærlig, sjov, mad-besat dreng, der fortjener sit eget hjem. Og så er der MATTHEW. ❤️ Matthew er den lidt mere reserverede bror. Han kaster sig ikke lige så hurtigt som Mark, men når han stoler på dig, er han utrolig sød. Han har haft en ren sundhedstilstand, er fuldt vaccineret og har haft begge sine bo

top of pageMark & MatthewShareThe Gospel boys🐾 MARK & MATTHEW — THE GOSPEL BOYS 🐾 One whole year has passed… and these beautiful boys are STILL waiting for their forever home. 💔 When we first introduced Mark and Matthew, they were just tiny kittens, around five months old. They were the babies of Mary D’Angelo, the beautiful cat rescued from Salford Cathedral, and their brothers Luke and John had already found their forever home. We honestly never imagined that a whole year later, these two gorgeous boys would still be with us. They are now 18 months old and have grown into two absolutely wonderful young cats. They are incredibly bonded, adore each other and really do need to find their home together. 🥹❤️ ✨ MARK is the confident one. He is completely in your face, in the nicest possible way! 😂 He loves people, loves attention, loves sitting on your lap and will happily make himself the centre of your world. He is affectionate, friendly, playful and just an absolute sweetheart. Over the past year, though, Mark has had a little bit of a difficult time with his mouth. We have had him fully investigated and unfortunately he has tested positive for calicivirus, a common feline virus which can cause mouth and upper respiratory symptoms and can flare up when a cat is stressed. Because Mark has been struggling with his mouth, he is having some dental work done next week, including removal of some teeth that are causing him discomfort. We are hoping this will make a huge difference to him, particularly when he is eating, and we will make sure his dental treatment is completed before he is adopted. This does not mean Mark cannot have a happy, normal life or find his forever home. ❤️ It simply means his new family needs to understand that he carries the virus and that stress can sometimes cause symptoms such as mouth soreness, watery eyes or cold-like symptoms. We want to be completely open and honest about Mark’s health because his future family needs to know exactly what they’re taking on , but we also want people to see Mark the cat, not just a diagnosis. He is a loving, affectionate, hilarious, food-obsessed boy who deserves a home of his own. And then there is MATTHEW. ❤️ Matthew is the quieter, slightly more reserved brother. He doesn’t throw himself at you quite as quickly as Mark does, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly sweet. He has had a clean bill of health, is fully vaccinated and has had both of his boosters. He has also become much more interested in going outside and enjoys exploring the yard at the shop. Matthew absolutely LOVES playing. These two boys can spend ages racing up and down the cat tree, chasing feathers on a stick and generally causing chaos together! 😂 And food… Well… let’s just say these boys are extremely enthusiastic about food. 😂 Chicken, Lick-e-Lix, treats — basically anything remotely edible is of interest! Matthew can be a little standoffish initially and he isn’t really a fan of having his belly tickled, but if you are gentle and allow him to come to you in his own time, he will happily settle down beside you and enjoy some fuss. He really is a very sweet boy once you’ve earned his trust. Both boys are fully up to date with their vaccinations and are ready to start the next chapter of their lives. And honestly… they have waited long enough. 💔 They have spent such a huge part of their young lives here at PawPurrs. We absolutely adore them, but what we want more than anything is for them to experience what they have been waiting for all this time: 🏡 Their own home ❤️ Their own family 🛋️ Their own sofa 🐾 Their own humans 🥰 And each other, forever. They are 18 months old now, and we want to see them spending the next 15–20 years being someone’s beloved cats not growing up in a rescue environment. If you have ever looked at these boys and wondered why nobody has snapped them up yet… we wonder exactly the same thing. Could YOU be the person who finally changes their story?
